Pseudo Minimal Surface Seated Pavilion

Collaborator: Arjun Prihar

This paper outlines a novel framework for the design of a pavilion that both reacts to human loading, and commensurately responds with a change in space. A design brief is presented with the requirement of providing a space of shelter and rest: namely, a roof and seat. Joining these two programs forms the basis of a pavilion, as the most basic mechanism to bound and supply usable space.
